Haven’t heard that in years, but that sounds like a phrase my own grandma used to say when I’d get pissed off at someone. I guess old folks knew their shit, but i made fun of their blue hair, chin moles, wire brows, funky denture breath, and other stuff.
In high school i asked a girl out i had a crush on for years and she’d say she had to wash her hair that night and couldn’t go. I believed her. So I asked her out for the next weekend, and the next. She sat in front of me in chemistry class, so then I started to look at her hair and actually it didn’t look all that clean. That’s when i realized good ole Meemaw might be right. So now, if they turn me down, the gentler part of me says people do what they want to do, but the real me says fuck em.

I am at a loss for words over this. I just can’t understand what would lead this person to strangle and stab his ex-girlfriend. There have been articles in the Gettysburg Times since it happened, and this morning the autopsy results were given – it sounded so brutal, and the coroner believes she was alive for it. I just cant fathom something like this happening in our little town, on the college campus no less… what would lead this man to do this?

Thank God guys didn’t play that sort of dumb girlie stuff. I didn’t even know you girls did. And I sat in the back of the bus. If you get thick skin, what, like an elephant, does that mean someone is calling you fat? I just don’t get it. Wierd. Gives me a better understanding of what I’m up against when I try to understand women.
